East Sibley St Reconstruction Update 

PHASE I - Michigan Ave. to Fowler Street            PHASE II - Elm St. to National

E. Sibley will be closed to all through traffic.  Detours for Phase II will be at Elm Street, National Street will contInue to be open to the south.  Please continue to watch website for further updates.

As the County Seat, the City of Howell is centrally located within Livingston County.

 

The City was first known as Livingston Center.

 

It was platted in 1835 by a group of settlers from Detroit, and it was later incorporated in 1863.
