The park guard booth will be open for operation:

May 22 - June 9

Monday - Friday 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Saturday/Sunday and Holidays 9 a.m. - 9 -.m.

May 31 - thru Labor Day

Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Saturday/Sunday and Holidays 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.

The concession stand will be open for operation:

May 22 - June 9

Monday - Friday 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Saturday/Sundays and Holidays 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

May 31- thru Labor Day

Sundays - Saturdays 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Please Note that staffing schedule may change due to inclement/severe weather.

Starting May 22nd, all vehicles must have a valid Season Park sticker or Day Launch permit in order to enter the park.

City Park Stickers:

For City of Howell residents – If you receive a water bill, you will get one Howell City park sticker with your April/May water bill, watch for it! If your property is a rental, you are responsible to give the park sticker to your renter. If you desire more park stickers, you will have to come to City Hall and show proof of residency to get one additional free park sticker.

For Oceola Township residents – Please contact the Township Hall at 517.546.3259

For Marion and Genoa Township residents – You must come to the City of Howell at 611 E. Grand River and show proof of residenct to purchase your park sticker.

The cost of park stickers is listed below:

City of Howell and Oceola Township residents (beyond the two free stickers): $15 each

Marion and Genoa Township residents: $40 first sticker, $30 each additional sticker

Non-residential: $80 first sticker, $60 each additional sticker

Stickers will also be available at the park entrance booth, with proof of residency.

Please abide by the following rules:

Vehicles with trailers are not allowed.
All motor vehicles are restricted to park roadways.
Park only in designated areas.
The pavillion(s) may be reserved through the Howell City Hall and entitles renter exclusive use during the hours reserved.
Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
No glass containers allowed in the beach area.
Pets must be kept on a leash.
Pets are not allowed in the beach area.
Ground fires are illegal.
Camping is prohibited.
Vending and Peddling is not permitted.
No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted.
The posting of signs is illegal.
Boat launching in the park is not permitted.
Patrons of the park must conduct themselves in an orderly fashion.
No Smoking at the beach.
No Feeding Wild Animals.
