        <title>Howell Multi Year 3 -Update 5.9.2012</title>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Progress continues on the Howell Multi Year Street Project Year 3.</p>

<p>5/10/12 Storm sewer at the George/Washington Intersection</p>
<p>5/10/12 - 5/11/12&#160; &#160;Grading on Tompkins</p>
<p>5/11/12 Water Service on George</p>
<p>Week of 5/14/2012 -</p>
<p>&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; Santitary Sewer work on Washington continues</p>
<p>&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;Cutting&#160;grade on George to&#160;prepare for road</p>
<p>Week of 5/28/12 - Pulverize/remove asphalt on Isbell (south&#160;of the&#160;&#160; tracks)&#160;and Center Street&#160;</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Week of May 14th they will begin with bituminous paving(asphalt) on</p>
<p>Swann Court, moving onto the west end of Maple, then to S Tompkins.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>NOTE&#160;- Driveway installation will be done during the first layer of asphalt</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Emails have&#160;been sent to residents that are affected, if they provide email addresses to us.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>REMEMBER - THIS SCHEDULE CAN ALTER DUE TO ANY UNFORESEEN WEATHER.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>

        <title>Water Discoloration during Construction</title>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>The current construction project that is occuring S. of Grand River, and W. of Michigan Ave. involves several utility improvements, including water main upgrades.&#160; These will help provide reliable water and sewer service for the entire neighborhood.&#160; Unfortunately at times it becomes necessary to flush hydrants and turn valves which may stir up iron, causing some residents to have orange water.&#160; The water is perfectly safe for use.&#160; Please run your faucets until it clears up before&#160; you use it, this should take no more than 15 minutes.&#160;</p>
<p>If it continues to happen or you need assistance, please contact the dps department at 517-546-7510.</p>]]></description>
