Neighborhood Tree Planting Program
Programs and Policies
 
The City of Howell has a spring tree planting program in which the City will pay 50% of the cost to purchase the tree; the homeowner pays the remaining half. The tree is planted between the sidewalk and the curb at no additional charge. Tree Request Forms can be obtained at the Clerk/ Treasurer's office or can be downloaded from the City's web site. Forms must be completed and mailed to the DPW no later than August 1st. Questions can be directed to the DPW at 546-7510.
