  • City of Howell Citizens’ Academy
    Seven-week program is an exciting way to for residents to learn about City government, become involved in community issues, and gain knowledge of the various departments and services in the City.  Please register to join us on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., October 6th through November 17th, with a graduation ceremony at the regular Council meeting on Monday, November 21st. The deadline to enroll in this informative program is Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

  • Water Rate Increase

    Effective August 1, 2016, based on a study by our utility rate consultant, the City of Howell will be increasing water and sewer rates on average 5.5%. 

    The majority of our customers using a 5/8"meter will experience an annual increase of $41.10 or $3.43 per month.
